This project required renovation of an existing six-story old manufacturing facility and the addition of three stories into Loft Style living space. In addition to the living space, a parking garage was added as well as street level retail space. Hayward was contracted to install the air ventilation system including 138 individual gas furnaces with exposed spiral distribution ductwork and furnace flue risers. Additionally, we installed a large make-up air handler and garage ventilation. Each retail space is supplied by its own system independent of the condominium.

In addition to Prairie Avenue Lofts, Hayward was the ventilation contractor for several other Legacy Development Condominiums including both the 23-story One East 15th Place and 15-story One East 14th Place. Both were new construction multi-use condominium facilities in the South Loop.
