Pepperidge Farm
Downers Grove, IL
HVAC modification & replacement

The Pepperidge Farm project required the complete removal and replacement of eight rooftop units totaling 130.000 CFM with associated double wall rectangular and round ductwork. The units were removed and replaced in succession to allow for continuous cooling. A new 15,000 CFM make-up air unit was installed to provide spot cooling. In addition to the equipment and ductwork installation, Hayward custom fabricated aluminum filter boxes and installed them inside the production facility for easy access during replacement. Emphasis was placed on scheduling as not to disturb production. Also complicating, was the fact that Hayward had to work around and over production equipment minimizing interruption with plant personnel and production schedules.
